The rear brake clip that keeps the pads separated, the clip where the 2 pins slide thru, is different on each side. Does anyone know which way the clip should be facing. One side is wider than the other.

See attached pictures

Thanks

You have it correct. The base of the little triangle faces the direction of rotation.

Thanks.

I am curious on how you know this.

I have a service manual and could not find any information on this.

Thanks

Wrote too soon.

You are correct.

I found it in the service manual. It is located in the maintenance section.

Thanks

Erick, did you not check out how many posts John has? Or his avatar (well deserved in my opinion, by the way!)? There is not much that John has not messed with on our beloved LT!

Thanks John.

Often times I question myself, do not take it personally, just like to be thorough.

Still have not bled the brakes or clutch, may take you offer to help one day.
