I'm out riding this morning with a couple of guys after breakfast.

Coming off of a stop light, I sort take off, leaving the guys behind for a bit. When they catch up, one of the guys says that it looks like gas is dripping out of the exhaust when I romp on it.

I'm not very mechanical, so I'm not too sure if this is normal or something to be very worried about.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,
Robert

Condensation.. happens all the time... epecially as the bike's warming up. "water" is a by product of combustion... and if the humidity is hight... and if there's water in fuel (due to mixing with alcohol which absorbs moisture, can add to the h2o in the exhaust.

Next time you can, start bike when cool... put some paper under exhaust for it to catch the exhaust dripping.. once you get some drips, stop the bike and light a match under the "water" spot... if it flames up, might be fuel.....if not, it's h2o and no worries.

Now, if fuel, might want to run some injector cleaner through it to help ensure the injectors are fully sealing.
