Rain is gone so I hopped aboard, almost forgot to unplug the Battery Tender, I was so anxious, and went up to my favorite back roads in York and Adams Counties, PA this morning. Very windy, almost made me do several unscheduled lane changes. Found high test in New Freedom, PA for $2.55. Rode for about 2 1/2 hours before returning for football! Broke in a new pair of riding boots from Leatherup.com. Very nice! A big hello to Dave, Rick, Nick, Eric and the rest, hoping you enjoyed a ride also. We must get another trip together before winter sets in. Eric, read about your company in the paper the other day. Hope all works out for you!

I tried out my new Bakup Backrest and took my wife, Myrtis out for a fifty mile ride through Adamstown and Point of Rocks. Everything worked out well and we enjoyed ourselves.

Is anyone up for a ride week after next?

Regards,

Glad to here you had a nice ride. I was out there, but in the SUV with the SO at the Frederick Craft Show!!! I have been paying my dues this weekend so I won't feel gilty when I leave for the Adirondacks next Friday. Friday night we took the grand daughters to the "Awesome 80's Prom" at the Hippodrome PAC in Baltimore. The Wanaget High prom was interactive with the cast of the show, the girls and I really enjoyed ourselves. Dancing, voting for the King and Queen and other skits.

Cheapest I can find in Jersey is 'high test" $2.49 (if a cage they pump), reg was $2.29...but higher at the shore areas. Great weather for riding; Wife and I were also out Sunday. Temperature was perfect, sklies clear and bright.

I'm always up for a ride! Just name time and place!

Nick, how do you like you Bakup? Did your wife enjoy the ride?

Hey, any of you Maryland Guys ever do "First Sunday" at the American Legion in Ephrata, PA. Ephrata is NE of Lancaster. It is about a 80 mile ride for me and I live between Gettysburg and Carlisle. I take the Turnpike from here to make time and pick a different way back. On a good Sunday they have had over 2,000 bikes there and all brands and all ages of bikes. They serve a good hearty Amish breakfast and it is all you can eat.
If there is no rain first Sunday of November I will don the electric vest and do it.
I have seen bikes I have forgot about. Full race Yahmaha RD 350's with clip on, old BMW"S, Guzzi's, Triumph's, a Honda CBX with an original MR TURBO turbocharger. I saw two Ariel square four's one Sunday.
You can call the Legion Hall a day or two ahead of time to find out if it is on.
They will likely cancel if rain this late in the year.
PM Me if anyone is interested and I will keep track of weather and be in touch with them to make sure they are open for the breakfast gathering.

I am going to enjoy the Bakup and my wife enjoyed the ride. She has ridden twice in three weeks and had a good time on both rides. I attending a "Working With Seniors, Health, Financial, and Social Issues" class at Hunt Valley Marriott. When I get back Saturday afternoon, I will suggest a ride from the Great Rides Book.

Hunt Valley Marriott is just a few miles down I-83 from me. Walk across the street and check out the new Wegman's store. Unbelievable!

Great idea about the ride from that book!
