I arrived at work this morning and noticed my headlight is out, both low beam and high beam. Instead, it appears the (dim) parking light is/was on. Does anyone know the fuse position for the headlight fuse? I'd like to pull it out and replace it before I head home later today.

Thanks.

A Very Good Question...

The chart I have attached says that the headlight including the High Beam Indicator are UNFUSED!

If they are the BMW type fuse with exposed wire across the top, you will be able to see if the wire has burned in two... If they are standard American type fuses, you will probably have to pull each one to see if any are blown.

I suppose it could be the load shed relay... because it turns off everything that isn't necessary when you start your bike... perhaps it isn't turning it back on after the bike is started?

I also included the starter circuit... just cause it was handy and may help diagnose your problem. The electrical schematic is also attached in PDF Form...

Good Luck, and Let us know what you find out... it may help others with the same problem...

The wiring diagram posted above shows headlights are not fused. Tail light and brake light fused through fuses F1 and F2. If you find that fuse(s) are blown, before you try replacing fuses, I would find out why it/they blew. Especially since headlight (unfused) also doesn't work.)
