Did a search and watched the video. Still have questions. On my '06 LT with elec. ctr stand, It's 5 screws to take off the rt. driver's peg, a short throw, 14mm hex for drain plug, might have a washer or not. What size wrenches/hexes for the exhaust bracket and what size hex for fill plug?

What torques on drain and fill plugs in ft./lbs?

Exhaust bracket has an M 8 allen (re install with blue loctite) and M 6 allen (up on exhaust). The drain has no washer and it gets torqued to 55 Nm (40.5 ftlb), filler is 30 Nm (22.1 ftlb) with a crush washer. Believe it is an M 8 allen.

The only difference is that I did not have to remove anything but the front right peg bracket. Maybe yours with the electric stand has lots of stuff in the way to the plug. My LT is 1999 and there was no exhaust bracket on the way to access the drain plug. I had to buy the M14 Allen key to loosen that plug. Before this I cut an old round 1lt oil container sideways to make it narrow to get in there and reach the drain spot. I was careful to let enough container body to cover the 0.6lt oil that was coming. If it was cut small I would make a good mess there.
You can also check my photos of the drain plug "as found" and "as it must be".
Be carefull, the drain plug has an O-ring on it for sealing. Better replace this and the aluminum or cooper washer on the filler plug.

Tightening torques:
Oil drain plug................................................ 55 Nm
Oil filler plug ................................................. 30 Nm
Foot rest mounting ....................................... 21 Nm
Fastener exhaust mounting
bracket to bracket ........................................ 41 Nm
Exhaust bracket, centre
(clean thread + Loctite 243).......................... 30 Nm
Fastener, exhaust bracket to exhaust........... 21 Nm

I converted the torques to in/lb for my wrench with google.

Thanks guys, should have waited for your replies. Got anxious to get it done.

Took off exhaust bracket while on side stand. It was 6mm & 8mm. Didn't use loctite.

Put it on the centerstand. Had to go buy a 14mm socket at AutoZone. Slid 14mm closed end wrench around it and luckily had enough room to break the drain plug loose. No porcupine on plug but did not perfect the oil shoot and most of the oil went on my garage floor. Cleaned plug and reinstalled without a new washer. Couldn't torque to spec.

Fill plug cleaned and reinstalled. Used same washer. Did get to torque.

You get a better view of everything from the rear. A few more bruises on both arms and hands.

eremite, I forgot to write, I was a bit inventive to be able to torque my drain plug. Cut with my grinder 3cm(about 1" +) the 14mm allen long end. Used my Snap-on torque wrench with a 14mm crawfoot also 14mm. This is how I managed to torque it. Otherwise I should go back to the hardware store to buy me a combination of 14mm allen/socket bit to be able to use the T wrench.
I can send a photo tomorro if you want. Too L8 here now.

I have to admit I never worried about torqueing the drain plug AND never put the blue stuff on muffler clamp I changed many of times
Gary, I agree with that, but, sometimes the torque wrench inside our hand clicks too late and the threads are worn. I prefer to trust the torque wrench so I won't need to worry on correcting threads especially on such points.
