I originally installed the Suburban Machinery footpeg relocators on my '05 but the trade off was scraping the pegs far too easily around corners, especially when 2 up. The relocators definitely improved my knee angle and comfort for longer stints but the compromise wasn't acceptable. That was with standard shocks all round. So, latest plan for me has been to order Wilbers for front and rear, with springs matched to my given weights for rider, passenger, luggage etc. Hopefully this will restore the ride height when loaded up, then I intend to re-fit the SM relocator kit and hopefully I'll be some way towards the best of both worlds. Has anyone done the same or similar ? I'm told the plushness will also be there with the suspension upgrade. Thoughts, reports, advice ?
