seeking part CD Changer Cable

Having gotten tired of not having a way to play MP3 thru the stereo on my '09 it is time to get something to play MP3s thru the CD interface.

I am looking for this part 61122305968

It is the CR Changer cable that plugs in the back of the radio and goes to trunk where the CD belongs...

I have searched and searched on my 09 and cannot find the cable on my '09

If anyone is parting out an LT with the CD and can spare the cable so can test and see if this is what I need, let me know.

The dealer price on this cable is only $60, so I might just order it and see what happens.

Thanks

Paul

Fellow LT riders,

As you can see I am seeking a way to play effectively MP3s thru the Radio on my CD changerless '09 LT.

I have tried the AUX port and the volume is terrible. I tried boosting the volume on the AUX input in several different ways including the "booster ro" and other devices. all not loud enough

I was seeking the DICE unit but it requires the CD changer cable. The dice is ~$150 plus cable at ~$60 for a total of $210 plus.

I found this device below which seems to have the cable and "dice" like interface all in one..

Fit for the following BMW cars with Business/Professional/Navigation factory radios:
Not compatible with BMW Reverse RDS radio or radios with DSP(Digital Sound Processor) stereo system.
Generally fit for the following BMW models and radio systems:
BMW 3-Series E46 1998-2005 Business, Professional radios
BMW 5-Series E39 1995-2000 Business, Professional radios
BMW 7-Series E38 1994-2001 Business, Professional radios
Compact 1994-2006 Business radios
Z3 1996-2002 Business radios
Z8 E52 2000-2002 Business, Business CD radios
Motorrad K1200LT Becker Business radios

The problem is that the instructions say that from the middle of 2000, BMW radios use "New Generation" radio CD changer port (with 16 flat pins), instead of the round pins

What I need to determine now (without taking the stingray off) is, does the '09 CD/RADIO in the stingray come with this interface?

for a cable that looks like this?

I found this picture off the internet which says is it s a business CD unit

Or this

You will be better off with this unit. Yes your radio is just like the one in the photo. That $60 cable you mentioned only goes from the saddle bag to the radio harness, not the radio itself. If you don' have the CD changer option you have the wrong radio harness with no where to plug in the $60 cable.

I was assuming the oddment box would be the optimal mounting point.

Am I right in assuming the stereo/head unit in the picture is only for illustration purposes?

Only the black box w/ Yatour silkscreened, along w/ the cables on each end- is this what's being sold?

YES.. only the wiring harness, the YATOUR black box and a few cables are assumed to be in the package.

I plan on doing a bunch of photos and a full report when I get this all installed.

My buddy on his GW has a similar product and it works

Here is the link to the EBAY item
