Nice! Couple questions. What did they cost and where did you get them? Why did you choose the PIAA"s over other brands?

Thanks

$360 Local dealer, could find them cheaper online but I like to help support the locals.

After doing research to all the lights out there and driving myself nuts I was at the parts counter one day looking at the 1100X's and some guy casually mentioned "I have those on my RT and they work great".

Sold!

Sometimes the best reasons are simple.

Comes as a complete kit for 2010 + RT's, mounts included.
OK now you really have my interest. I had a pair mounted on my LT. They worked great. When I moved to the 2010 RT, I thought to mount them on it. I shopped around and finally tried EZ mounts. They caused the lights to scratch the fender when I rode on rough roads. So I took them off. Looking at your lights, it seems that they are mounted as would be with the EZ mounts. If you can give me more info on how they are mounted, it would be greatly appreciated.

They mount inside the fender, need to drill 2 holes which is very easy to do. Running the wires to the battery can be done without having to take any tupperware off.

It may have been covered in another thread but EZ Mount have released a revised mount for 2010+ RT's that dont allow the lamps to strike the fender.
ESA models only.
I fitted mine on the weekend, working fine. :bmw:
