Hi Tom, it looks like a great ride. I could tell from the look on your face you were enjoying it.

Very nice pics Tom. Looks like a great ride. Was that a paid tour or just a group ride lead by Tim?

Thanks for sharing, Tom. Great pics.

I went on one of Tim's first guided tours and had a blast. Would love to do it again.

I see he's still riding that 'Busa. As for the other Tim, he was hell to keep up with on his FJR. I can't imagine trying to chase him on a supermotard.

Thanks, Dell.
Yeah, Ted, I paid for the privilege of riding in my own backyard.
It was still a ggod ride, and just something different to do.

And yes, Ken, Tim is fast on that Duc.

Yep, your name came up. I knew Billie was from El Cerrito, and during one lunch conversation about IBA rides he happened to mention his neighbor had an LT, and was an LD rider. The dull, dim bulb in my head flickered, and I asked who was his neighbor. It was you.

Are you going to Tulsa?

I think we saw you in Ferndale on Saturday afternoon, a group of bright yellow riders parked at the turn to the Lost Coast as we, a group of 7 Harleys, went by on the way to Petrolia. When we got to Petrolia, we looked up the hill and saw a huge black cloud pouring down something that looked like snow and said, "Uh Uh." We turned around and went back to Ferndale for beers at that great bar. Seeing your photos, I'm glad we did.

Tom - Funny that you should bring that up. With all that's going on with my new job (yes, another one) I didn't even have CCR on my Outlook calendar!

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) the Mrs. is planning to ride out with me to Utah this year. That's such a beautiful state and she hasn't seen it before. So her accompanying me would preclude the 2.5 week ride that could include both the IBA gathering in Tulsa and CCR. Not to mention that I'm the new guy at this company and... what vacation?

Oh well...

Cheers!

Hey Steve,

I did see your group starting out on Mattole as we were coming in! We were trying to figure out what to do with the flat on the R bike, and, more importantly, where to eat lunch.

I saw some of you two-up on baggers -- it did get a little snotty up there with the snow, and rain; you'd had a blast on you KLR, but the big baggers -- that wouldn't have been much fun.

Ok, new job rookie, I understand :). As for me, 221, then god-bless CalPERS. (But who's counting?)
