Hi guys,

I wonder if somebody could help me out with purchasing two small trailer electrical connectors. I found them on etrailers website but these people refuse to ship the parts to Finland.
I would need two connectors.
One 6-pin Pollak female trailer side connector part nr PK 11604:

One 5-pin Pollak female trailer side connector part nr PK 11501

Maybe these could be located even at your local auto parts store but on this side of the pond I have not found such connectors.

PM me if you can help me out.

Big thanks in advance!

Those no Finland shipping Bastards !!! :)

Consider it done my brother...

Do you need these particular ones or will any 5 and 6 pin round work for you ?

Would you rather have the metal shell or hard rubber ?

I'm sure they probably have them down at the Auto Zone but It'll likely be a different brand..

If you'd rather have these exact ones just let me know...
I'll order them from Etrailer and get them to you as soon as they arrive...

Looks like $16.97 to get them to me from e-trailer..

How much do you think the shipping to Finland will be ?

PM me your shipping info.. Not sure I can find your address easily.. I have it "somewhere"..:wave

Wow, this is fast service!

Big thanks Curtis & John, nice to see we Finns have not totally lost our credibility..:p

Although Curtis was few minutes faster with his offer it looks like John is already sitting on his computer ready to push the "order" button.
So wih no offense to Curtis perhaps I let John place the order for me. With the excuse that it has been longer since we have met with John. (Back in 2006 as opposed to Curtis in 2010)

I appeciate your kindness, nice to have friends over there!

Regards

Ari,

Did you get your EHCS actuator rebuilt yet?

John,

If you don't have a gig Friday night, you want to meet Friday morning at Jimmy's Egg again?

Now that you brought up the subject, John...

Yes, I got the unit rebuilt, thanks for the parts!
But...I did the traditional mistake which I even warn people about on my Picasa instructions. During the changing of the actuator seals I of course lost some oil from the unit. I did not empty the whole unit since the oil was quite fresh so I just added some more.
And then I overfilled it!
Damned, I cracked the pump housing:eek:

I fixed the housing using the same method as Joe Goettburg explained on his instructions and I got it back in place yesterday and it seems to be holding so far.

The teaching of this lesson was that don't guess the amount of oil in the unit. If you loose oli, empty it all out and refill with correct amount.

Now I am in the market for a EHCS pump unit, if anyone has one laying around...

Regards

Sorry to hear that Ari. Hope your fix holds up. I got lucky when I overfilled mine. All it did was blow out the 0.030" formed o-ring case seal. It is still holding four years later.
