I just got a sharktooth bluetooth system for my Evoline II ST helmet.
I had no problem pairing it with my Xperia X10 phone but it will not pair with my nuvi 1490 GPS. The GPS will not even find the sharktooth when looking for nearby bluetooth devicespair.
Has anyone been able to make it work?

I got my answer from garmin.
This GPS will only pair with phones. No comm system

How good are you with a soldering iron?

If you open up the back of the GPS and attach a 3.5mm female connector with wires to the speaker. Route that out the back of the GPS, then pick up a 3.5mm Bluetooth dongle, you get what you were trying.

You just have to pair the dongle to your headset.
