Greetings peoples.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible using the VIN codes and other markings on a 1983 K100 to work out the correct colour? I'm trying to return an old K back to uber original spec.

Cheers and kindest regards to all.

My 85 K100 had a paint code under the seat .
I would just call Holts BMW in Ohio they can look it up
and send you as much or as little as you need. I have an order
with them now for my K1 paint ,Very helpful and great to work with

E.L., Paul's down under. It might be a bit of a stretch for him to telephone Ohio.

Under the seat means either on the rear fender, visible when seat is raised or it could mean on the bottom side of the seat. A three-digit number easily used with a resource such as realoem.com

contact Holt BMW, a Glasurit and BMW dealer. They do paint restoration and know all BMW paint codes!
