What bikes do you own? I have a 1982 Goldwing and a 2000 Buell Cyclone. The Buell is my go to bike for commuting to work. It is also my back-up when working on "you know who". and vice versa.

I have heard bad things about the Buells, but I love this bike. For an old guy it's pretty comfy, and has enough torque to pull stumps. It's great for commuting to work. It storage is also comparable to my LT.... basically, whatever I can sit on.

I took the mother ship on a 50 mile trip along the Mississippi here in Iowa. I forgot what a joy this bike can be, which was rudely interrupted by a stop sign. The good news, is that I didn't drop it............ progress.!!!!!!!!!

1998 F650 Funduro. It is not a coincidence that the name begins with fun... :D

1994 Yamaha Virago 750, nice little 'cruiser-style' bike that mostly sits anymore. :(

See my Sig line. Two Tigers to keep me entertained when I'm doing the solo or shorter trips.

1940 Harley knucklehead chopper. It leaks a bit, but when I'm 72 years old I wager I'll leak a little bit as well...

I also have a Buell (S3T). Love the torque, hate the heat and vibration.
My son says the LT is like a BMW station wagon. Sporty but luxurious.
He says the Buell is like a 1967 vette with a 427, sidepipes, and manual steering &brakes.
I love them both!

Besides the '01 LT, I have and love my '07 HD softtail Deuce. Have a '94 DR650 (listed for sale) and just traded off my '06 Yamaha FZ1 (already miss it) for a '12 Yamaha WR250R.
Got my eye on a Honda RC51 now.

I have a 2004 RT a WONDERFUL bike. I just put a Russell seat on it so my wife could ride with me. Unfortunately she won't even sit on the new seat. The backrest isn't great.

So. I have purchased a 2010 Gold Wing with 13000 miles and she loves it. She even suggests we go riding! This is unique and I am unaccustomed to it. We went to breakfast 83 miles away this morning and went riding afterwards. I am still getting used to the Wing and it has been scary a couple of times 2 up making U turns, but it really does have a great amount of power and stability. I'm enjoying it and we are planning a trip to CA in November. 1850 miles. The most we've gone together is about 230 so far. Gotta Practice.

I forgot to mention, she wanted to ride her own bike so we bought a 1998 Funduro. She was riding it around the front yard and one of our turkeys ran out in front of her and she dropped it on her ankle. Took 2 months and physical therapy to get her right again so riding isn't for her.
Bike is for sale now.

I also have a 81 Yamaha xs400. It was purchased as a learner bike for the wifey. Shee has been on it once. That is ok. Jumping on it and (pretending to) scream around town on it after being on the big gal is ridiculous. It feels like being on a pocket rocket. It is so small and, makes so much noise you feel like you are absolutely flying!

Besides the '00LT I also have a '00 R1200C. Want a GS real bad, but no more room to put another bike and can't bear to part with either of them, I think I need a house with a bigger garage, maybe a better job too :)

I only own the LT, but I have a Buell Ulysses for when I can do my job on a motorcycle, which is, unfortunately, not often enough. The Buell & I have come to an agreement that we will tolerate each other.

I have been blessed with a best friend who has given me indefinite loan of an 03 GoldWing while he recuperates from back surgery.

And I have 100 class bikes in the garage that I get to maintain and try to get or keep running. Those are all the little 250 MSF training bikes.
