I walked into the dealership convinced that I was going to move up to a 2010 K1300GT from my 2007 K12. I thought that the K13 had 3 extra years of refinement in it, so it would make a nice upgrade. Also the price for a new fully optioned 2010 was down about $7000 off of MSRP so I knew I could get a great deal. I thought that the K13 was more my type of bike as it is lighter and a little quicker than the K1600GT and I wasn't enthusiastic about getting a new bike and becoming a BMW lab rat like I was with my 99 LT. One hour later I walked out of the dealership with my pupils dialating and drool running out the corner of my mouth. In my hand I had the purchase agreement for a red K1600GT which they tell me I am going to be able to pick up some time in September 2011. So much for my resolve.
