As always, right before a trip. Sheesh....

Noticed yesterday as I stopped for a light that my 02 LT (88,000 miles) was making a loud rattling noise down near the front of the engine as near as I can figure. As soon as I get the revs over 1k the noise goes away. It only happens after the bike is warmed up, When cold or after I stop and it sits for a while, the noise is not present. I'm thinking timing chain guides, what do you all think?

I was planning on running it down to the RA next week but now I'm unsure. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Mine sounds like a cement mixer at idle; always has. Rattle can be from tupperware; some pieces have material between two sections to prevent rubbing?

mine started rattling after tupperware removal, too lazy to remove again and fix.
