So the real question is...
Was Alabama that over-rated? Or is Ohio really that good???

Even though I am NO bammer fan, I am still an SEC fan! I think OSU just played a little bit better than UA.:p

Alabama does have a very good program but you can't win 'em all!

For now, my Vols are taking the Hawkeyes to the shed!:D

Have a great New Year buddy.

After watching some outstanding NFL playoff games last weekend, I was looking forward to finishing it off with the College Championship game. I thought what fun to watch the two best college teams in the nation.

While it was certainly a fun game to watch, frankly, after watching the best of the NFL over the weekend, the best of college looked a lot like a high school game. This is not meant to be mean spirited to the college athletes and their tremendous athletic ability, but it's just unbelievable how fast and precise the NFL game is in comparison. Guess that's why only 1-2% of college level players actually make it to the pros. Those guys are GOOD!

Reigning from Ohio for the past 14 years it was kind of nice for the sports fans
to experience a team that was under rated by the polls and media take down all
the competition in the last 4 weeks of the season - its always fun to watch
cinderella!!

The parity between leagues and teams would seem to make its any ones game on
any day. The fact that the QB was a third string and he only played in three
games at the end of the season and beat such great schools is what makes this
such an interesting year end event.

What I enjoyed was watching all the talking sports heads verbally fumble
around trying to handle the success of OHIO at the demise and collapse of
Alabama and Oregon :histerica and hey I am to that big of a sports fan!!!

Now I just moved to Minnesota and will need to wait quite sometime for that to
happen up here . . .
