From Phoenix to Globe up through the Salt River Canyon to Show Low. Down to Payson and up to the 260 and down to Camp Verde. Hop on the big road and back to the house in time for dinner.

All told 412 miles, weather on the rim was in the mid 70s and just awesome.

Now back to work and get the bike ready to ride to Cape Cod on the 16th of June.

Looking good for a ride on the 9th of June. Probably up through Payson and up to Lake Mary Road in towards Flagstaff. Stop at the lodge at Lake Mary for lunch and either on to Sedona down Oak Creek or maybe back home through Showlow and Salt river canyon and Globe.

Should be a least 4 bikes maybe 6.

Oh yeah,!!! Blow off lake mary and run payson to Jerome to the haunted hamburger. Then over Mingus to Prescott valley and back home!!!!

Which route do y'all use for Payson?

I use tuc to Globe, past Roosveelt Dam to Payson. )

I have a GREAT Time getting to Globe, TONS of FUN getting past the dam, and then even more FUN getting to Payson.

For this ride I went from Phoenix to Globe ,up through salt river canyon to show low and down to payson.

Or I just go phoenix to payson on the beeline and on from there.

I was thinking out past fountain hills and up the beeline. Quickest way to get up to the mountain and the cooler weather!

The other ride, BON, interestingly also originates from Phoenix to T'stone via Globe and Safford, spend the night, ride back the next day.
