I use a fuse box (
this one , which is under $30 on Amazon), connected to the battery via a power relay. Relay is triggered on by the rider seat power wire, which powers up when the ignition is on. This puts all of my fuses in one convenient place, and stops me from leaving any of my farkles powered on by mistake. I learned a long time ago that inline fuses scattered here and there, and a gazillion terminals attached to the battery lugs, can be a huge P.I.T.A.
There are other fuse boxes that one can use, but this one seems to have more going for it than the others.
