I just put ebc front pads on and in the process of pushing the pistons back into the caliper squirted some brake fluid out the "overflow" hose under the center of the bike. My level is now halfway between min and max so I think I'm ok. When I had my bike serviced last they bled the brakes and I'm assuming the level must have been right at max and the back pressure burped some out. Does this sound right or should I be concerned before I go out and bed in the pads?

Thanx.

Thanks for the quick response. In hindsight I guess I should have loosened the fill cap to allow the pressure to bleed but live and learn.

Did your brake calipers have pucks inside the pistons?

Just went through the same thing with rear pads.

If you are not throwing a wig wag light on the dash you are good to go.
