I went to the Mondial du 2 roues in Paris and I wanted to let you know what I found in Nolan's booth.

Late 2005 or early January 2006, they will launch 2 new helmets (N102 and N42) that will be available with a bluetooth chipset. The details weren't very precise as the models showed were some kind of prototypes. A guy from the sales deparment told me that according to him, the bluetooth option should cost around 200 euros.

This should allow talking with your passenger and answering calls from your blueetooth phone.

Full Convergence

There should be a push to converge many of the GPS-Radar Detector audio/Intercom/Cell Phone/Music functions as pertain to helmet mounted speakers/microphone via bluetooth connections.

There really is no reason to have a wired helmet intercom on a bike anymore.

AUTOCOM needs a plug in module to send/accept audio signals wirelessly to/from the helmets...then do what they already do to integrate the above audio functions.

Add a bluetooth touch screen operating module with the GPS per Tom Tom for the bluetooth phone in your pocket and we'll be good to go.
