So, I'm looking to order a Russell Day Long seat for my '07 RT. Only problem is that I'm going to be minus a seat to ride for roughly a month right in the middle of summer. Any good solutions to this problem? Thanks in advance.

A few ideas: buy a used stock seat through this or another forum or eBay, then sell it when your new one comes; talk to your dealer about borrowing/renting a seat, particularly if he has a used one; see if Russell has anything suitable they can rent/loan to you - they've likely had similar questions in the past.

Additionally Russell will email you with a build date. Allowing say, 3 days for shipping each way and 1 day for the seat build you won't be out of your seat for more than probably 10 days. (assuming a weekend is in the mix)

When I shipped my seat out I had it back in less than 10 days.

There are lots of seats around; most of those who've replaced theirs still have the factory one. Tell us where you live and maybe somebody local will lend you one.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I live in Virginia Beach, VA. I posted on the local club's Facebook page and it looks like I may be in luck. In the event that falls through, I would appreciate any offers to borrow a seat from someone in the area.
