Well, it finally happened; my Nav II died...or is dying. Living in Alaska, I honestly didn't use it much. If I start off going south, I come home north and vice versa. Not too complicated.

What are my best options for replacement units?

I will be moving to Ohio next year and will be using it again on some longer rides. I have the Nav II in the standard mount. I currently don't use satellite radio, however I might in the future. I'd like to use the current mount (or a similar location) if possible. Thanks!

Best buy IMO is the Zumo 590. Has the best display and the cradle has the same 4-screw setup as all other Garmin gps's (incl. the BMW Nav models).

Should you consider buying a K1600GT(L) or a watercooled R1200 model, then the BMW Nav V would be your best choice.

the best option is to replace it with the NAV II I don't use lol...but seriously if your interested PM me
