I have been busy working on replacing the clutch slave cylinder on my LT I had my drive shaft on the shelf nearby I accidently knocked it to the floor. When I went to pick it up I found this piece in the pictures on the floor I have no idea where it belongs. I inspected the drive shaft and didn't see how it could fit to the drive shaft. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Looks like the taper bearing out of one side of the final drive.
The pics are not showing up that great on my tablet, just a guess here. They will fall out if you are not looking .

+1 on what sheldan said..........it's the race out of the bearing in the FD studs.

Thanks guys! At least I don't have to pull the drive shaft out
