I've just tried to place an order for a new front tyre at a bike shop here in Tassie and the Metzeler rep told the guy he can't give an ETA for any ME880 front tyres. Does anyone on the mainland know of an outlet with the correct tyre (below) in stock, and approximate price please.
120/70 VB 17 Marathon Front Product Code: 966700 Best regards, Dennis

Thanks, I'll have a look. Seems a bit insane though, I don't know what's going on with supply of these tyres to Tassie, I would assume the rep would (possibly) cover Vic and Tas.

I have one extra new front ME880 tyre that I can probably ship it to you from work if they can't ship it to you. Just make sure they can ship me a replacement within the next month.

Yes, I just got a reply from a bike shop who spoke directly to the Metzeler rep, he stated that a container is on the way to Oz, but he said it was not known what/how many are in it, which would be crap as there must be a consignment note for any container. Not real good, but I want to match the tyres as the rear is only 2 months old. Hoping to get back to me late next week.

I'm waiting for a reply from MCAS.

I currrently have a front ME880 coming over from Southbank BMW Melbourne, I think they only had 2 in stock with no others on the horizon at present.Apparently the next Metzeler shipment to Oz is all radials with no tyres for the K12's, bugger. Thanks everyone for your input and offers of help. Dennis
