That GS trunk actually looks pretty good on a silver LT. Nice job on the rest of the farkles, too.

Have a good ride and good luck. I'll be at the checkpoint so let me know if there's anything I can help you with.

I think he added a fuel cell directly in front of the GS trunk for extended range.

I question why 2 GPS units? One as a back up in case one dies?

I've yet to see anyone in the IB Rally that doesn't have two GPSes. I don't recall the exact reason...I don't think it's merely a backup unit. I'm sure Ken Meese will enlighten us all very soon. :rotf: Oh boy...I hope...I hope...I hope... :p

John the motive was to lose 35 pounds of dead weight and reduce the top heavy feel of the stock trunk.
The jessey box weighs 5 lbs and has more room , although smaller in size.

Because it looks good,,All joking aside the main reason. Well GPS 1 is used for the complete route, time management baseline. GPS 2 is used for point to point navigation and via point manipulation etc etc. Plus it serves as a back up,Do not want to resort to paper maps.

Good luck Pete!

With both Coni and Don out of it this year, you and George are our LT hopefuls. Would love to see an LT make a good showing once.
