A while back I purchased the Schuberth C3 with SRC Collar and have been using it successfully when riding with friends using Cardio G4 devices.

Recently purchased a Navigator IV and paired it to the SRC system.

The problem I'm encountering is that the Navigation commands, coming from the Nav IV via Bluetooth to the SCR are very low. You can barely hear it in a quiet room.

Looking in the Nav IV settings, it mentions you must set the volume level on the other device, that being the Schuberth SRC. Problem is that the volume is maxed out and again...I can barely hear the GPS commands from the Nav IV.

Anyone run into this. What am I missing here?

Thanks,

Mark

I think I had the same problem initially and what you need to do is to be sure that your GPS is paired "correctly " to your helmet.

With all bluetooth turned off around you, separately pair the GPS to your helmet. It might need to be away from your bike and not in the bikes cradle. There is a thread about doing this in the K1600 section of this forum. I'll add a link.

good luck.

I see this is an old post and the problem is probably resolved. However, I just received my new C3 Pro and a Navigator IV. The audio levels were low to the point that I couldn't tell when miss GPS was giving me direction. I turned on the radio for a base line and all I heard was silence during the prompts. First I thought it was bad radio reception. I checked all the levels and finally called Phil, named above. He sent me to an engineer who knew what to do! I learned about "Volume Per Mode". He said to get the GPS talking and during that time plus up the audio level. All I did was push the screen icons, there is an audible beep, and as I did the beep audio levels kept rising. Voila, problem solved. :rotf: So the helmet remembers the audio levels for each of your sources. :)
