Looking for a used NAVIII for sale. I recently purchased a great 05 LT with a NAV II and want to do a simple & cheap upgrade to a NAVIII. I understand these use the same mount and connector but the III is still able to get maps and software updates unlike my II. So anyone with a III for sale let me know. Thanks! Posted this before on the GPS forum but no replies. Hoping a wider viewing on the main site!

I have a Zumo 550, which is effectively the same unit, IIRC.
Not sure if it works with the BMW cradle, however. If you think it will work for your purposes, drop me a PM.

Tony, the Zumo is not a match, wont fit the cradle. TheGarmin Sreet Pilot 2820 or 2830 will fit but I am not sure if the left cradle buttons would work on a non-BMW branded GPS, I read somewhere it is a proprietary issue.deputy5211 said:

I just upgraded to a Zumo 665 and I have a NAVIII. Everything works fine and I have all of the accessories. I want to make sure everything is working with the Zumo but will probably sell the NAVIII soon. Check back with me in a few days

Every once in a while the arrow that pops up when you touch the screen would pop up even though I wasn't touching the screen. I just have to hit the map button and the arrow would go away. It's not perfect but not terrible either.
