Apparently Bosch moved the spark plug manufacturing lines from one plant to another
and are finally once again producing the specified spark plugs for the LT - this is according to
Beemer Boneyard where I finally got these!!

At least you got them. Why are you replacing your plugs? Is there something wrong with the ones that are in the bike now? I have close to 118k on mine so just asking and they are still OK.

Hi Guys, may it helps you.
You have not to use the Bosch Plugs you can use other once.
I Use since Years now "NGK DCPR 7 EXI" they also named Iridium plugs. Maybe you find them easier in the states as Bosch.

BMW specifies replacement of the spark plugs at12K mile intervals as part of routine service.
Maybe that's why he is replacing his plugs.

To each their own, if anything my bike gets over serviced , I just don't see the point in replacing plugs that are still OK. I routinely change out my fluids every 5k mikes. With the money I have saved in plugs every 12k miles ($300) by now, I just got another set of tires.
Not harassing anyone, you do what you want your bike and I do what I want with mine. If you follow to the letter what BMW tells you to do more power to you.
