For many of us the riding season has started.
And for the very fortunate it is year round and never stops :rotf: Two things at the top of my list before a trip are weather and road conditions. Mother Nature is our friend but sometimes we miss her warnings and oh well oops!!! I like cross country rides have done it in a car many times but on my bike the awareness factor kicks in. March was a surprisingly good riding month for my area mid 70's but places I wanted to go to were having Chicago like weather or heavy rain and tornadoes. Just a thought for the new season.
ride safe :bmw:

Just got back from a 1500 mile ride and mother nature kicked out butts. The wind was so bad we rode most of the trip at a 45° angle. Weather man was not correct on the weather, so you never know completly. Enjoy just be carefull.

You ride, then you have to take what MOTHER NATURE tosses at you.

You can't have good weather all the time. A trip in 2001, we had temerpature as high as 115 degrees in Nebraska and down as low as 37 degrees in Oregon, at about 9am.

10am on the other side of the mountian it was back to 90 degrees.

Have a good trip.
