My Radio Control model airplane club has a booth in Cabaret Hall with over 30 planes and helicopters on display, including a 1/6th scale B-17, the Memphis Belle with a 210" wingspan. Stop by and say Howdy! :D

I'm in town this year, not off riding somewhere.
Let me know when you're coming over?

The Fockers are heading to Cambria on the bikes this weekend, can't they work these festivals around our schedule?

Nope:
Here's a few 2013 events to plan around.
Cambria - May
CCR Bend. Or - Aug
Grape Festival - Sept
Fort Bragg - Oct

Have a nice weekend.
Have you had dinner at the Sea Chest?

Sheeesh. You would think with that gratuitous entry that Doug has some sort of connection to the Grape Festival Ground. Oh, thats right, he is a director. But the big question is, where do the motorcycles park? Did he cover that?

I am teasing. Doug is a devoted community supporter in many ways. Being on that Board is just one more piece of evidence of him having a big heart.

:)

The Sea Chest is really good but does not take reservations so go early.
Try the "Devils on Horseback" .

Thanks Chris for the kind words.
Lodi Hal is also a Director currently serving on the Executive Board.

I stopped by from 3 to 6 and weather was perfect and lots of people took advantage of free entry till 5 (today only)
There is so much to see at our little Festival that it takes me couple of evenings to take it all in.
Great display this year in our History Museum of old photos and the actual Queen's gowns from back in the day.
Lots of different food vendors, even Lockeford Sausage but I had a beef/lamb Gyro, Umm Good.
The murals constructed from grapes and other crops grown in the County are a must see and very unique. We work hard to keep this tradition alive.
Did not take in any entertainment but there is something going on all day/evening.
The site is only 10 acres so it's compact and if you attack it in an organized fashion you can cover everything if you keep moving. I always find someone to talk to and, well, you know what happens.
Hours Saturday are 12 to 12.
Best to just pay the $5 onsite parking but depending on when someone wants to go and if I'm done with chores, I could meet you and give you a ride into the grounds. there are some benifits to this Director gig, one is special parking area and then there is the Directors Room with adult beverages and snacks all paid for by the Directors for themselves and thier guests, that could be you.
