Fuel filter is 10 pounds and air filter is 16.50 pounds; the lowest USA price I can find for the air filter is $43 and the fuel filter $34.55

Beemerboneyard sells Mann air filters for $31.50, fuel filters for $21.95 and Bosch oil filters for $8.95 and discounts at relatively low volumes. It is my understanding that these are the vendors that make the product for BMW.
