Have just replaced the standard low beam with an LED, and what a difference. I’m looking to replace the high beam but have read that it’s hard getting one to fit in the housing.

Does anyone have any experience with changing the h3 with an LED and what the brand is if it fitted.

The h7 fitted but had to drill a large channel out of the top of the dust cover.

Hi Wazza,

I had read that before about leaving the dust cover off. It is a large heat sink but cutting the channel means that the lower part and sides are protected. The heat sink sits outside and will stay nice and cool. It was a mongrel trying to get the light in with the lack of room behind the light. Thought I’d have to take the front cowl off the get it fitted, but finally got it in.
