Does anyone know where I can get a larger plate to attach to my back rack? I have a 49 ltr top case but when it comes to riding two-up with camping gear, the case doesn't have the dimensions I need. I would prefer to just have a nice deck where I can set a nice wide dry bag with all of my gear instead.

I'm pretty sure there are companies which build exactly what you want. Unfortunately, I don't know their names. With that said, this doesn't answer your question, but it may be something that can resolve your problem.

I bought the flatbed rack which goes over the pillion's seat. It's a quality built product and from what I have seen, the company has a great reputation.

Hope this helps a little.

Thanks, Cliff. I've looked at the BMR rack and like the design. I might look into retrofitting it to mount on the back. I'm going to be 2up on a camping trip so the stock mounting location on the BMR rack won't work.

When I bought my 2008 RT it had a 49 L top box with a BMR shelf mounted on top of the box. I took the shelf off to reduce weight for everyday driving and used rubber grommets to fill the holes. When I travel a put it on and use it for an Ortleib dry bag which holds my laundry.
