I am blowing one fuse ( 7.5 ) quite a bit now. It first happened last month the day before I left for Tail of the Dragon trip from Dallas. When it blows I lose my Headlight ( xenon ) and the four hyperlites on rear. I've had my LT since March when I picked it up from Big E. Never a problem before.

I put 2300 miles on her on the trip and no problems. Now I've blown the same fuse twice in a week.

any ideas???

Hi there,

I had the same problem after putting in a Xenon headlight. Worked fine for a few weeks then blew the same fuse. Replaced worked great for another month and blew again, asked the BMW dealer and they said with the Xenon kits to upgrade the bulb to 10A, wont cause a problem with the wiring they promised. Did as suggested and had no problem since.

P.S. read the instructions on the Xenon kit afterwards properly and it said in there to upgrade the fuse as well.
