It took me 52 years, five other bikes to save up enough to finally get a LT !!! Now they change the whole thing.
Oh well..

Not to worry, the dealers have plenty of new LT's and of course there are a good selection of still under warranty pre-loved! ;)

You're right... 1999 - 2009 was a pretty short run on the K1200LT. :rolleyes:

No worries - these bikes easily go 100K miles.

Hmmm......I don't think that 10 years is all that short of a run these days. Technology changes so fast-just look at phones, computers, etc. Most car models change before that wouldn't you say?
The LT model actually goes back at least to 1986 on the K 100's. Not as far back as say a Gold Wing Ding, but pretty far back.
