Here are a few shots of the Kycero rack I put on my LT. It's a universal kit that is easy to fit the LT by using 6 mm studs. What I like about this rack is the corners that allow a mesh net to be easily hooked, which is how I tend to strap down things, even bags of groceries.

That looks very nice. It helps that the LT design is not ugly under the trunk. I used mine for a while sans truck before I bought a rack.

I'm very much obliged to you

Where did you purchase the rack.
Thx
Barry
I bought it online, I can't remember from whom but they're around. I think it was around $200. The only modification I had to make was to cut down two of the posts that hold the rack. The generic kit gives you several lengths, and I found that having the 4 posts the same "medium" length was the right size, so I cut down the taller ones to match the 2 medium posts and I think it worked out really well. It takes about 15-20 minutes to swap out the rack and is easy to do.

Does anyone know where to buy the KY ero rack? Would also be interested in CAD file for Fort Worth type rack.

Reviving an older thread here. Now that I’ve seen my LT with the back box removed and liking the looks. I decided to drive myself crazy searching the web and the forum for a luggage rack. Lots of previous suggestions and links for products are now unavailable. Then I found these (See link) price is brilliant and shipping is perfect also. My only concern is that I have two antennas on the rear and don’t know if this will fit. I seem to recall in the dim and distant past another rider bent the edges up and inward to allow for the antenna mounts. Then they added spacers to heighten the rack for more clearance. Unfortunately for me I can’t for the life of me find that message again. So does anyone have (Polite) suggestions for me ? Please and thank you. These racks in the link could be old stock they are selling off especially at the prices shown. Just don’t drain stock before I can get one up here into Canada. We already suffer enough as it is getting parts.

Thats not too far different from the old Fort Worth Rack. I have one of those and it was a great addition. I have had the top box back on for a while now and I can't see me taking it off again any time soon. That price is unbeatable.

As Wazza said, looks very much like the old Ft Worth style that was fairly popular. I have something similar and paid a lot more for it, but it also has a backrest which comes in handy on those rare occasions I ride two up. For the money, can't go wrong :giggle:
I never use the top case anymore as I ride solo and much prefer how the LT handles without that rear 40lbs. As for the antennae, I removed that and replaced with one of those 'stubby' types which I mounted to the front fairing. Reception is OK for me on those rare occasions I use the radio.

I’ve ordered one today. My price with delivery was $75:33 Canadian. I’ll have to pay taxes once it gets delivered to a post office here in Canada before they’ll let me have it. But still it was quite the discount. I had seen others before on eBay for a lot more with crazy shipping prices making them not worth the purchase. Others may want to act while they still have stock. With flat rate shipping of $19, the whole price in the USA will be $54. I’m sure some will buy a few and put them out on eBay for a lot more and turn a buck or two. Anyways I’m a happy camper for now. Just need to get some spacers to lift it higher from the side cases and maybe do some mods around the twin antennas. If that’s not doable I’ll look for a different style of radio antenna and mounting point. I don’t use the sound system ever. I’m normally just out enjoying the exhaust sound and the countryside. I’ve just finished putting on new tires, battery, brake bleed, oil changes etc. And there’s still the feeling I should sell it on and go for something a little less demanding and needy for maintenance. I don’t believe it’s had the clutch slave cylinder hole drilled. And the constant worry about final drive or clutch getting compromised from seals leaking it takes away enjoyment of ownership. Perhaps a smaller Japanese bike would be more preferable. I’m 69 years old now and losing strength, the bike is heavy for me for sure. I’m hoping the trunk being off will make a difference. But I’ve also been recently diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and my breathing can be laboured at times. Hopefully it won’t progress to fast and I’ve a few good years left in me. If it gets to bad I’ll consider either a trike or a Spyder for what years I have left.

I think we all understand. I am glad you are still enjoying the ride!
I am heading cross country in a few weeks and I am just grateful I can still hold the beast up!
Maybe remove the antennas if you don't use the stereo.
I removed the box, and my radio, speakers up front, the CD player from the rear pannier and the antenna.
I have almost 10k songs on my iPhone, but I don't listen to music while I ride.
I also prefer to hear the exhaust (and the tires,) though my AirPods have noise cancelling and it is pretty quiet in my full face Arai helmet. I use the AirPods for Siri and phone calls, and I have separate speakers in the helmet for the GPS.
Wishing the very best your way!

Just had bad news today. Apparently after taking my money the website informed me it only ships to the lower 48 states and wants me to give them an American address. So now I’m in the process of cancelling the order and waiting on VISA to call me back to cancel the transaction. The website does not say anywhere’s it only supplies the USA, yet when ordering it offers every darn country in the world to chose from to get the order, takes your money and then BINGO sorry don’t ship to there. What a PITA 🤬
