Gray/silver top case (not sure of official bmw color), bought a few years ago because my case was broken every way possible. My bike is black and eventually found a black replacement. Not perfect but in very good condition with nothing broken. Latch is VERY smooth (better than my original or the black replacement) includes key, retracting strap and thumb screw, mirror/hinge/compartment, 12V receptacle, interior light, liner, case hinges, all work like new no issues at all. Some nicks in paint on rear near lower left of latch pointed to in pics. The left speaker piece had 2 small tears like it either fell on something or maybe leaning it on the side stand bumped into something. I repaired these with black rtv sealant quite some time ago and it seems like a good fix to me. Never used the speakers but I presume they work, I know the heated backrest works.
Or replace that broken latch with the one from this top case and have the rest as spare.
$225 picked up Lawton Pa or can meet Binghamton, Tunkhannock, New Milford. Have it packed in a good sturdy box and will ship at actual cost. The box weighs 42 lb and is 32 x 22 x 21 from 18801. You are welcome to come here and we can mount it with your hardware or put it on my bike or in the car and meet.
