I have no understanding or can figure out what I have as far as the letters after the LT. My bike is a 99 has Highway pegs which remind me of the chariots on Ben Hur. Most all the bells and lights. The bike was hideously painted and repainted a stock pewter color and it has stickers with the K1200LT on them. I started looking on websites and trying to use the search engine for accessories and it asked for LT, LTC LT ICON and LTS. Any Ideas on how to tell?

Here is a read to get you started. I did a coupla searches using various keywords for different models and found too much info for me - you might try the same procedure; just be prepared for lotsa reading.

All LT's had lots of stuff. The S means standard, Icon had the computer readout on the dash, heated grips, and a cd player in the saddle bag, the C had that and chrome pieces and heated seats. After a couple of years they all had heated grips.
