bought an old bushtec trailer that was in pieces just finished it,s restoration.took it out for a ride yesturday what an amazing trailer. i now know/get what everyone is talking about when it comes to a bushtec.
have never had anything feel so good/stable behind the bike not even my unigo i will take some pic,s of the completed trailer today and post them later
Get some extra rubber tips for the kick stand to carry with you. Eventualy you will forget to put it up and drive off with it down. Nice job on the restoration!! I finally wore out the tires on mine!!
i built it for ccr this year the unigo is nice but we are planning a two week trip with a little camping on the way so wanted something a little bigger.
took it out for a 100 mile ride on sunday everything went well
I think the guy before me did 2,600 and I did about 18-20K. They always looked OK and I thought they would last forever until I got back from the Post CCR California trip and they were definitley worn flat. Maybe it was just the roads I was on. Always had the pressure set right on the tires and shocks.
