I am considering the J Peg Hi Way pegs, for those long days where it would be nice to be able to stretch out my legs on 2005 LT. Has anyone any experience with the J Peg product?
It seems from the web site the install kit replaces the stock engine crash bars? Does the kit still offer protection from tip over? Does anyone have any better suggestions? Thanks a heap.

Lots of info in archives found by searching, here's a start:

Thanks for the info. Seems like there is some debate on who likes what. Over all the consensus appears to be the Mik o Pegs, and not the J Pegs. Similar price point. No one appear to be overly enthralled with then BB K1200LT Highway Pegs. May go with the flow. The Mik O Pegs seem the easiest to install as well? They do not appear to impact the Ground Effects Lighting, and are more of a bolt on item.

I have Mick-O-Pegs AND J-Pegs on my '05.

Really like the MOPs and while the JPs give different riding position, the are a bit too far up and out for my comfort these days. Before my crash, I really enjoyed them, though.
