Illium brake peg extension

Has anyone installed one of these and how the heck did you drill through the stock peg and brake arm? I'm barely making a scratch!

I purchased and installed the Wunderlich one (bought from Wunderlich America) and it was super easy (5-mins installation) - no drills required.
Very happy with it: Rear Brake Lever Enlarger
