I inadvertently gouged a portion of the top trunk lid, leaving some deep scratches.

Any suggestions as to how I can minimize the damage? I realize that this is all superficial, but I love my baby and would like to keep it looking pristine as long as possible.

Thanks in advance.

Scratches

I know how you feel! Did the same thing to my top case. I took it to a professional car detailer who managed to get 95% of the scratches out by machine polishing. Give it a try.

there are a few scratches on the back of my topp case, looks like someone "keyed" it.
I took a mild hand polish to it; didn't do much good and no further damage.
I like the idea of a mechanical polish.
Let me know how you make out with it and I'll let you know as well.
