OK, what is the trick to getting small pieces of road grit out of the radio speaker grill. I have tried the vacuum to suck them out, the air compressor to blow them out, and a small broom to sweep them out with no luck.
An interesting question as I haven't the foggiest how to even remove those grills; passenger and ones up front. I have even thought of buying some of the 'thin foam' that is used on the cheapo electrostatic air cleaners, etc. and tacking them on for long trip . . . and then throwing them away!
Maybe an easier answer is how the heck are they removed easily?
Or ARE EASY AND BMW MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE???
I assume you are talking about the front speakers as they are the ones I have trouble keeping clean. I use a tooth brush, in a flicking fashion, while blasting it with air, the brush dislodges the grit and the air blows it away. Give it a try
