The previous boxer I owned was an 01 R1200C It had its pluses and minuses, perhaps even its charms, but I don't remember any significant vibration.

I just bought an 02 R1150RT with 21,000 miles. Bike is terrific in many ways, but it seems to have more vibration than I remember the R1200C having. Is this normal? If it's not normal, what could be causing it? ape

I have both, the R12C definitely has more vibes than the R1150RTP, so I think you're on the right track to look at tuning.
