I am in Mississippi, 1800 miles from home and have discovered a front fork leak. Probably lost 10-15 drops today on a rough road. Is this a stop and get it fixed problem or wait til I get home?
Thanks
You'll be fine. Mine leaked so much this summer it finally quit on it's own. Just a winter project waiting to happen. I suppose there could eventually be some damage from oil starvation but it's not like it's the engine that's doing without. I say ride it home and don't worry.
There is plenty of oil in the forks and it just provides lubrication. No shock function. Fix it when you get home and there will still be plenty of oil in the fork.
