There is a lot of discussions about this on the Adventure site. Here is a link http://www.vvme.com/ to the company that sells direct replacements. There was also a write up somewhere on the site on how to do the conversion.

I used a different brand on my GSA and wish that I had gone with this brand because of the thinner ballast. I did have to modify the light housing a bit to make this work. The advantage is that should you have a failure all you have to do is take the ballast out of the loop and put in your standard bulb.

I bought a double kit and changed both high and low beam. Seems to be working fine so far. I'll try to find the article on how and post it. Here is a link to the adventure site http://www.advrider.com

Thanks Raffy,
Art, I have an aftermarket hid that went bad. So, I can use any brand I wish. I would prefer to buy here stateside because I had huge problems with the first hid kit I bought from over the pond. My canbus rejected it and the company kept sending parts and modified harnesses. It took 7 months to get resolved and in the end would not work. It cost me 175 bucks when all was said and done just to return it. DDM tuning looks like a good set up if it will work on my canbus GT. Missed ya at CCR.

I just bought HID'S for my car from DDM and they are great. If you check their website you will see they now have a device that plugs in so the canbus will not throw a warning. Its made just for that. They have excellent prices, excellent warranty and the ballast is ultra small. Here is the link hopefully.
