We're in Lubbock this weekend visiting my girlfriend's daughter & her husband. The subject of where to eat came up & the kids mentioned this place: http://www.thechoc-latemousse.com/index.php#

Of course the mention of a pie bar made me think of the Pie Princess. We haven't made it there yet, but I'm hoping we do.

Kind of a long way for most for a RTE (it is for us) but a place that serves nothing but pie might be worth it.

Don't know if there is a PIE RTE planned for next weekend in the DFW area, but I'll be visiting (business) from Thursday 'till Tuesday (3/15-3/20 @ the Hilton Anatole) and would like to try some Texas Pie and do a meet 'n greet. :)

Do not know of an in-town RTE, but would be great to have a meet/greet. Besides the visiting PM from OH, there are probably lots of new members (and old) who could use any excuse to get together and eat some Q and some pie!

We didn't make it by there this trip. We went to the wine bar instead.....just load up a card with cash, then hit the wine dispensers. Kinda pricy (my girlfriend and her daughter blew through $60 in no time - easy to do though at $8/glass). Samples were $3.50 I think. I've never had chocolate wine before.........

Here's another locale for the Princess of Pie to think about..

Click here - they have opened a Goumet Cafe in F'burg, right across the street from the Nimitz Museum, and next door to Mahaleys Cafe (where Stevie, Sammie, Jim, Bo and I had breakfast this past Sunday) on the corner of 87/290.

Lubbock is a little far for an RTE from Dallas on a weeknight.
C'mon Bo... YOU can do it!
