Does anybody have any suggestions to stiffen my suspension on my LT without raising it off the side stand. I understand the stock suspension is set for a 175 lb rider. I'm 240 and ride two up most of the time.

I am not sure what you mean about raising it off the center stand ?

There is a crank under the seat that effectively lengthens the rear shock. If you are 240 and you will most likely have a pillion then you will need to adjust that shock. It will make it easier for you to put it on the center stand because it will effectively raise the frame in relation to the ground.

One word of caution is if the shock crank does not raise the rear (you can measure from an saddlebag to ground before and after) you may need oil in the mechanism as it seems to disappear over time. Probably from the supporting hoses softening over time. Do not over crank the adjustment knob.

There are threads here that deal with that phenomenon
