If you want downtown, I recommend Firestone Public House at 16th and L.

Parking is generally good at that time of night and the food and beer are above average at moderate proces. It's been open about 2 months in the old CPK space.

That place was a winner! My steak salad had an entire steak sliced on top, and cooked perfectly. Beers on tap were voluminous, most I think I've ever seen, and their more than happy to let you sample a few. I had a black IPA that was incredible, something that Raffy would really like Everyone else's food looked good too, definitely should be revisited.
