Any chance we could get an early start (and conclusion) on a venue for this week?
It would be cool if we could choose a location that would be relatively convenient for both Northerners and Southerners....i.e. EGrove.

Paesano's
BJ's
Brickhouse

Can we do the Mongolian Place? Peony?

L&L is OK but I go there for lunch all the time...

Are we sure about this L&L thing? There are about 40 locations in the nearby region....
Like McDoncrap....

What's wrong with one of the original suggestions

Peony is ok with me, but I'm with Doug, I would like to try some place different...

Come on Shredder, take a chance on dinner and just don't go there for lunch for a few weeks... :D

How was Baja?

I'm with Ted on this one, this place is fast food. You would think with all the food places around Sac and Elk Grove we could find something new to try....grin.

Mikuni's Japanses is a know quality and service..... easy access as well.

Very similar to Shangri La but no Chinese factor

I eat Japanese food at Megami's but was thinking more like Ted. Peony's Mongolian food sounds good. Never had L&L and used to paddle Hawaiian outrigger canoes.

Plan on riding at 9:30p to welcome Winter?

Hey Hal, they do have non-raw food....grin.

I didn't see anything on the menu that I didn't consider as anything other than bait.... :D

Like Doug said, majority rules so let's get on with it.....

Vote for one:
1. Mikuni
2. Peony's
3. L & L

This is half fast food, half not. They have relatively cheap dinner combos with tryaki chicken, salad and veggies and other stuff.

Not as fast food as L & L, but still a local chain. They will sub steamed broccoli for rice if you want, and the thai grilled chicken is spicy good.

Right next to Peets, just a block west of BJ's on Laguna. Same side (south side of street)

Service reads pretty sketchy Dan. I guess I'm in if we don't go to Vince's or something.
You order in line and they bring the food. Not waitress service. I eat lunch there occasionally, never been for dinner.

Never had a problem.

Vince's is ok with me. Wasnt sure if you said yay or nay to it.

How about Jim's original suggestion of the Brickhouse? Nice service and good food...
